I'm with you for the most part. I always though Priebus was a slimy guy who wasn't fully on the Trump Train. However, and maybe it was in spite of him, the Trump Team did an amazing job of getting him elected the first time. Again, I don't know how much of a role Priebus played in that, so although he doesn't make me feel warm & fuzzy, I assume he did his job.
On the other hand, (is this the third hand now?) there must have been a reason for him to be kicked out after the election. Obviously, I don't know either!
I think Preibus was in with deep State Republicans. But he isn’t a never Trumper that would go against the Republican nominee, and is good at party politics.
