Forcing Iowa to spend millions on a state-sponsored primary because Dems want to screw each other doesn’t seem fair either.

“Forcing Iowa to spend millions on a state-sponsored primary because Dems want to screw each other doesn’t seem fair either.”

State-wide primary elections give ALL voters in a state a vote in who will be their candidates, rather than allowing just a tiny number of insider party members who bother to attend the caucuses to make those decisions ...

After the 2016 caucuses, Colorado voters voted overwhelmingly to eliminate the caucus-only system like Iowa has, and instead institute a state-wide primary system where all registered voters could participate.

Colorado voters from BOTH parties were outraged in 2016 when both the GOP and Dem caucuses were rigged by party insiders, and converting from a caucus system to a primary system was overwhelmingly approved by the voters of Colorado ...

state-wide primaries give ALL registered voters a vote, not just a few insiders who can rig the results ...
