It’s pearl-clutching Democrats who got massacred by Trump impeachment trial: Goodwin

Pearls clutched, hair on fire, heads exploding — pick your favorite image to describe the left’s latest reaction to President Trump. Once again, the end is near, he’s gone too far, this time we got him.

His outrage against all that is good and pure was to pink-slip star impeachment witnesses Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman and EU Ambassador Gordon Sondland.

“Friday Night Massacre” screamed the usual suspects, a not-very-subtle reference to Richard Nixon’s “Saturday Night Massacre.” The difference, unmentioned, is that Trump was already acquitted, whereas the Nixon impeachment hadn’t formally started.

The problem with NH is that is very easy for the DNC to bus in ringers from MA and stuff the ballot box.

“Wait til they start arresting those involved in the entire coup, from the Russian collusion hoax to the impeachment hoax.”

You’re going to be waiting a very, very, very long time.

but history has shown the republicans are more apt to let them go.”

I think Trump, for the next 10 months, will focus on winning a 2nd term. AFTER THAT I strongly believe he will go after the plotters. I believe it’s personal now. They went too far for too long. Trump will do this having had 4 years to learn HOW to do it. He was out of his depth going in...

Yes I do, mainly for their own survival, the Trump family’s foremost. If they don’t arrest the Deep State coup perpetrators - especially when they have the evidence - they will themselves be taken down once he leaves office.

It won’t be up to the do-nothing Republicans this time. It’s a legal matter now, an attempted coup and how many assassination attempts. I believe they have the evidence and the witnesses they need.

Yep - makes me think they asked Chrissie Matthews and others to start saying bad things about Socialism to try to can Bernie because they know that their Party has to lie about Socialism in order to have a chance of imposing Socialism...

Kind of creates a conundrum for them as they try to sabotage “The Bern”...

The Democrats have long discounted a Bernie win in the neighboring state of New Hampshire. He won there last time, I believe. What they didn’t expect was that he’d win Iowa. THAT was an earthquake. They’ve been building a firebreak down in South Carolina expecting to crush him there. Unfortunately, they were setting Biden up to the victor there, because of his strength among Black voters, and he might not last that long.

Pelosi’s antics at the end of Trump’s speech were akin to a 4 year old throwing a hissy fit in the toy aisle of the local Wal-Mart.

She is a long way from acting like a mature person, and an even longer distance from acting like she should be Speaker of the House.

IF I were a Democrat voter, I would be racing to the local registrar & changing my voter registration.

Looked like something out an old ‘DYNASTY’ rerun.

I have a message for Bernie:

We are NOT the caregivers of the world.

We work hard at basic education, some of us get to obtain higher education.

We work at our chosen jobs, and we take care of ourselves. MOST OF US DO.

I DO NOT owe anyone in any other place a minute of my time or a towel out of my cabinets or a roll of toilet paper or an egg out of my refrigerator.

I worked for everything I have. I have worked 2 jobs when I needed to & even worked a part time 3rd job—doing bookkeeping on weekends.

I bought my first house when I was 26, and I was only making about $6 an hour. The house payment was $1 more a month than the unfurnished apartment I as renting. I sold that house, bought a 2nd. I wold that house & bought this property-—free & clear. I will sell this house & clear enough to buy my next property free & clear.

I bought my own clothes, vehicles, household goods, food & have paid my property taxes & utilities & insurance without delays. O don’t drive the newest, latest shiny pretty vehicle. I drive a 1979 Buick with over 217,000 miles on it. I have had ONLY ONE new car in my entire life, and I had it 32 years, and sold it with over 444,000 miles on it to a guy who restored the exterior—it ran just fine. My other vehicle is a 1976 Chevy 1 ton dually truck. Has over 348,000 on the chassis & I put over 250,000 of those miles on with my butt in the seat. A ‘new’ truck costs more than 3 times what I paid for my first house. I can buy parts for my old truck from Summit Racing Parts all day long & they NEVER fuss over how old my vehicles are....NEVER. Cannot say that for local ‘auto parts store & clerks’.....That isn’t in our computer !! is their usual mantra.

I don’t jump to buy every new, exotic electronic item. I have a record player & receiver & speakers I bought in 1974 and they are working fine. My dishes & flatware are over 42 years old & I eat just fine off them. Same for most of my kitchen pots & pans. I don’t need a cell phone. I have paper maps & I know how to get from here to wherever I want to go. I have driven over 1 million miles in my life without a GPS-—just a map. I also have ridden my horses over 5,000 miles in competition & such events are based on conditioning & training 10 miles for every mile you compete.
Had paper maps & ribbons on the trail. NO GPS.

I have 2 lamps that are over 60 years old and a desk lamp that is older than I-—and I am 80. My kitchen table & chairs are wrought iron & are older than I. It was my Dad’s desk lamp in his office. My cedar chest is from 1957.

My point is that I don’t spend $$$ just ‘because’ I want something new. I can cook fine with what I have & I can get to where ever I wish to go with my vehicles.

I have no reason to keep supporting anyone from another part of the world.

They need to “Cowboy Up” & make their own countries better. They do not need to parasite off of America.

Time for Mitt to switch Parties.

Here's how I see it going down at the DNC convention. This crop of Democrat candidates is the most awful since about 1972. None of them have a ghost of a chance of beating Trump. Not Communist Bernie. Not Dukakis-clone Buttigieg. Not Fake Indian Warren. Certainly not Slow Joe Biden - who really needs to be retired to the nearest Sunny Acres assisted-living community and put in charge of Bingo night. As for "Hillary-to-the rescue", forget about it. Not happening.

It will most likely be Bernie. And who will he likely choose as running mate? Mitt Romney. It makes sense when you think about it.

Bernie's biggest liability going into November will be the fact that he is an out-and-out socialist. On the other hand, Mitt Romney, despite all his other faults, is an out-and-out capitalist. So Bernie will select Mitt in order to take the "edge" off his socialist platform and bring over whatever "never-Trumpers" are still out there.

And Mitt will accept because his unbridled hate for Trump is that strong. He would actually go on a ticket with a socialist if he has a chance to beat Trump.
