Well here’s an ugly thought: I have no doubt the virus came out of their BSL4 lab, but “how”? The whole point of a BSL4 lab is to contain these things and this lab was only 15 years old and had all the modern safeguards.
Pure speculation on my part but we know there are lots of people in China who are unhappy with the ChiCom government. Young people, the kind who get advanced degrees and go to work in government labs. It’s not outside the realm of possibility that someone intentionally took the coronovirus out of the lab with the intention of using it to create mayhem or threaten to do so for political purposes.
As I say, just speculation. But the mere possibility is something the CCP would never admit.
