I tell people that story. It was Swedish nuclear plant workers. They wore radiation badges and they were triggering. So the swept the hell out of their plants and found they were perfectly clean.
...then they determined that the badges were being lit up from outside radiation, which was later found to be Chernobyl.
A lot of Europeans would have gotten a lot sicker from raditation, if Sweden DID NOT have a nuke program. Funny how that works, sometimes.
