New Jersey Department of Health Statement on Mandatory Quarantine Order
On Tuesday evening, an asymptomatic individual who traveled from China to Newark Liberty International Airport was issued a mandatory quarantine order. While the individual did not present any symptoms, they were in Hubei Province on February 4 and therefore were issued a 14-day quarantine order. The individual, who is not a New Jersey resident, was transported to a location in Essex County, and the New Jersey Department of Health will monitor the individual for symptoms for the next 14 days.
The risk of novel coronavirus transmission in New Jersey residents remains low.

Coronavirus outbreak: 3 new cases confirmed in Singapore, 4 more discharged

SINGAPORE: Three new cases of the novel coronavirus have been confirmed in Singapore, all with no recent travel history to China, the Ministry of Health (MOH) announced on Sunday (Feb 9).
These include a 71-year-old Singaporean man, a 39-year-old man from Bangladesh and a 54-year-old Singaporean man.
This takes the total number of cases in Singapore to 43.
