I think the very real question wasn’t if any of them could beat the President, the question is if any of them could beat themselves. They all keep running so far to the left they’ve got no chance of winning anything. Heck, you could probably pull JEB! out of wherever he hid at and still probably sweep the field and he’s as inspiring as a Minnesota Polar Bear jump.
The short answer is no, none of them could. All of them scare their own electorate in some form or fashion more than they are scared of Trump. Bernie for his socialism, Biden for, well, he’ll get back to you on today’s opinion, Warren for her ‘wokeness’, Buttigeg, etc, etc, etc. They all terrify at least one portion of the party.
And if the nominee is Bloomberg, you can kiss goodbye the riots after Trump is reelected.
Hillary planned this out. She fully intended on being able to sweep in for a second term virtually unchallenged, and cleared the table of anyone who was a significant challenge to her. She didn’t want to get Obama’d again.
As for 2024, well, best of luck there - the DNC’s efforts to be about as leftist as possible put most of the field in the same boat come the open elections again.
Oh, wait, sorry, there’s some deep state cabal who’s already selected who will win in 2024. *eyerolls*
I’d love them all to be so disheartened and triggered that they decide to voluntarily end it all. They are beyond contempt.

Even the Dims have figured out Trump will win. Pretending to run against him is just a token effort at this point.
Whether or not Trump wins there are now enough open leftist radicals in this country to cause trouble.
