So when did they start milking vegans? The equipment is not very expensive, but most vegan women do not look like they would be very good producers compared to a cow or even a goat and I am sure that they are a lot more difficult to take care of.
It’s probably futile, but I hope Starbucks does not cave on this.
At what point does it need to be said that they are running a BUSINESS...and if a commodity costs them more, it will of necessity cost the customer more.
They need to make payroll!

I was riding horseback with a neighbor some years back when she said she had changed her diet significantly & now was using only Almond milk.
I told her I was raised on a Wisconsin dairy farm & milking cows was a big enough job—especially when the power went out. I couldn’t begin to imagine how hard it must be to ‘milk an almond’.
She almost fell off her horse laughing.

Wicked expensive, from what I hear.
I don't even know what that is. I put olives on pizza. I spent some considerable time hiking in the olive groves in Tunisia and thought I had seen olives in every imaginable form, from food to fuel, but never olive milk.
