Melania Trump is stepping into the campaign spotlight for her husband, telling a crowd of supporters she was looking forward to the coming battle and hosting a pair of fundraisers for Donald Trump's re-election campaign.
'I'm looking forward to campaigning and fighting for Americans and our great nation. Thank you very much,' the first lady told the president's supporters at the Red, White and Blue gala at Mar-a-Lago Saturday night, as seen on a video from the event posted to social media, as the crowd cheered her on.
She'll also be raising money for the president's November re-election bid in two posh - and wealthy - locations.
Melania Trump is listed as the host of a March 18 fundraiser in Beverly Hills and for a March 25 event at Mar-a-Lago, according to invitations obtained by Politico.
The fundraisers will jointly benefit the president's campaign and the Republican Party.
The Trump campaign did not respond to DailyMail.com's inquiry about the first lady's 2020 plans.
Her shy public presence hasn't reduced her popularity among Republican voters, who cheer loudly when the president mentions his wife during his campaign stump speeches.
And Melania Trump could help the president with women voters and in key swing areas in Midwest states like Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, and Wisconsin.

I live in California. There are millions of Trump supporters here. We stay quiet and we don’t wear our MAGA hats outside of our homes. Melania will be successful in raising money here. I hope that President Trump holds a few rallies here to support a few GOP Congressional candidates that have a shot at winning formerly GOP seats. Issa’s old district is one. The district in Simi Valley that Katie Hill (the amateur porn star who resigned) is another.

Very wise...advance the queen into California hostile territory backed by the bishops and knights...perhaps it eases the way for the King to rally in California later. Why leave the state to the Proggies?....make them fight defensively there for the first time there-bye weakening there efforts elsewhere.

Yes remember everyone Trump received more votes from CA than from any other state.
Barron was pretty young during the last campaign - I suspect she feels more free this year to do some events. And his grandparents are always with him, from what I see.
I hope FLOTUS goes on the offensive in 2020, complete with her accent and sweet personality. I hope she goes after the likes of Chelsea Handler who said she could barely speak English. Time to take the gloves off, Mrs. Trump. We have your back.
According to an email President Trump is having a dinner in LA Feb.18th.

I was thinking..
She’s got Christian values.
She’s a successful business woman in her own right. Didn’t get that from Trump.
She has handled herself well in interviews.
She is well liked.
she would split another key demographic that rat’s typically get.
She would have Trump in her corner as long as he lives.
She will have been around the presidency for 8 years.
She will have met many of the world’s leaders.
And now she’s getting more involved in campaigns.
She would also have the entire Trump team.
She’s untested in politics.
I don’t know how much executive experience she really has.
We could do worse.
But she’s not constitutionally eligible.
She is intelligent and strong ( I doubt Donald is interested in weak women)
The libs will try to cast her as a bimbo, and will get their butts handed to them.
