The DS rats and Rino’s think we have short memory’s. Over half the nation was alive and old enough to remember the Congressional Post Office scandal. Very “Bipartisan” if I remember correctly!
Today’s congressional carpetbaggers/grifters make the Keating Five look like pikers!
I have had enough of their ilk and believe it is way past due to “Drain the Swamp” of these creatures and return the halls of Congress to “We the People”!
I honestly don’t know how these dishonorable legislators can walk the hallowed halls created by statesmen who risked Life, Liberty, and Sacred Honor to win our Freedom from Tyranny let alone have the unmitigated gall to sit in the desks of the many honorable statesmen that have come before.
I am not naive about human nature, but surely we can find 535 honorable men who can strive to live up the ideals of Washington, Jefferson, Adams, or at least strive to be like a “Jefferson Smith” as portrayed by Jimmy Stuart in the movies. We expect more from the gentlemen/gentlewomen in our Congress.
When 95% of all Americans are honorable law abiding citizens it is time we cleaned up the Congress of these United States of America. In other words it is time to step up to the plate and get in the game. Benjamin Franklin did say it best “You have a Republic, if you can keep it!”

The only way is to remove all the perks. No big salary, no retirement. Work 3 months out of the year. The rest of the time go home and live under the laws you passed.
When serving in Congress is a sacrifice again, things will get much better.
