Senators and congressmen cannot be impeached.

I know, I used the wrong term, but thinking you would know what I meant, you would realize that...

Utah CANNOT recall him, we do not have a law for that, we can however CENTURE him, the State Government is trying to make a law that we can bring him back and vote him out because he represents UTAH...but we have to vote for that law, hope it passes and then send it to the Supreme Court and hope they allow it...

This is what was decided today...

Regrettably, if enacted, a Utah recall law will be declared unconstitutional.

Federal officeholders -- senators and congressmen -- cannot be recalled. This issue has been litigated both in federal court (Frank Church, Idaho, 1967) and state court (Robert Menendez, New Jersey, 2013).

Although Justice Clarence Thomas believes that states should have the right of recall under the 10th Amendment, getting four other justices to agree with him will be a high hill to climb, especially considering the case law already on the books.

Utah CANNOT recall him

No, but you can hit him in the face with a pie.

Prior to the 17th Amendment, could states recall, and replace their senators?
