By nature, Romney is a sincere and decent man, but as sometimes happens, he lets those otherwise fine traits lead him into moral vanity and preening. By invoking his conscience and religion for a monumentally wrong and stupid vote, Romney has exposed himself and his faith to opprobrium. Now, to slam LDS, one can cite Romney as an example for it being somehow at odds with a firm grasp of civic duty.

I can tell you personally that Mitt repeatedly and publicly lied about an interview he did with WHO Radio in Des Moines in 2012.
