Aside from AAA, car insurance policies have roadside assistance.
I am not that great at changing tires, but I’ve always been very cognizant of at least being out of the way if the jack slips.
When I was in my 20’s and 30’s I changed tires. Worked on my own car, too. I could still do it now, if I had no other choice, but I realize that lifting the tire will likely cause me back pain that could last for weeks. Part of success at any stage in life is knowing your own strengths and weaknesses. Sadly, this woman learned that lesson the hard way.
