Brian Wilson suing his own musical group The Beach Boys to stop them performing at a hunting convention in Nevada which will host Don Trump Jr. Mike Love and several other band member signed contract to play at the convention against the wishes of Brian Wilson.

I believe Mike Love is a cousin of Brian, Carl, and
Dennis Wilson. One of my HS classmates was a sound tech
roadie for the Beach Boys.
Brian Wilson is up/down kind of manic, I have read. Brian is a talented writer and singer.

SO yes, part of his problem might be because of Trump, but he also is really mad that they are playing at all without him.
BTW, there is actually NOTHING in the article that says Wilson is doing any of this because of Trump. The article INCLUDES that Trump is playing, probably to confuse the readers into thinking this is the issue.
But the two reasons directly taken from Wilson are first, he is furious they are playing without him. And second, that they are playing at a hunting club, he opposes safaris and hunting for sport.
So, let me get this straight.
The BBs sign a contract to perform.
Tickets have been sold.
Wilson suing the BBs not to perform.
So if Love and the BBs don’t perform, they get sued by the guys who hired them.
If Love plays, Wilson sues them.
These guys came to where I live last year, little town in West Georgia. It was tough for me to get through it, and in fact I left at intermission.
I’m thinking, God Bless these guys, at least they’re out there working, making money when they’re in their 70s and 80s.

Brian Wilson is a musical genius who suffers from mental illness.
That being said, he has the right to express his dislike of hunting.

Well, there are only 2 longtime members of the Beach Boys left in the band, and the main one, Mike Love, has been butting heads with Brian since the sixties.
Brian never surfed. The only one that did was his brother Dennis.
That was Dennis Wilson that was friends with him.
Might be, he did write a song about vegetables and he was on a “natural food” craze for a long time. (of course that didn’t stop him from ingesting all sorts of recreational chemicals)

That’s not really how it went.
Certainly the doctor was an opportunist who grabbed on to Brian’s coattails for dear life. However, before he came along, Brian was completely out of it, not leaving his bed for days, heading for morbid obesity, smoking four packs a day, etc. The doctor may have been a grifter, but he did get Brian on a diet, got him healthy again, and got him back in the studio, and even though he insisted on being Brian’s “producer” and controlling almost every aspect of his life, Brian was working again and even scored a hit album during that time.

I've seen a BB contract (a non-Brian show within the past 6 years), and all the riders, and Beanbag is exactly right - he will have no success trying to exercise prior restraint. He's a beneficiary who rakes passive income from their Mike Love-led performances! Not just the royalties but paid as if he's there.
Which is why Beanbag can't do shit about their schedule, Mike & Co announced this date last December, and Beanbag had his chance to object before then.
Beanbag singularly makes being a Beach Boy fan so goddamn hard (could care less what Al thinks about a bus schedule, Shorty is a moron).
I saw them in concert back in the early 80’s. It was by far the worst concert I have ever attended. They were late getting there, causing the warm up band to keep on playing. When they did show up, it was only half of them. They were all drunk, having attended a Notre Dame football game earlier. The warm up band ended up playing for them. They were better than the real band. Finally, the others showed up, played three songs and left. The only good thing was I didn’t pay for the tickets. My brother gave them to me. Beach Boys suck.
They played at our state fair around 1976-1977. My parents spent $5 each for grandstand tickets for us kids. We waited 2 hours and still no BB. We ended up going home because it was getting late and 3 hour drive home. Never did see them.
Brian Wilson is a moron..The Beach Boys were one of my groups I listened to...I love songs from the 60s to the early 90s. Today’s crap..is usually 7 words and 6 of them are the N word, the F word, Bitch, Ho and about drugs...
