Ah, the good old conflict of generation. Since ancient times every next generation was considered stupid and incapable. Most of the time the next generation achieved more than their predecessors.
When my 12-year-old mentioned "social justice warrior," I asked him what one is. He replied: "A nut!" When I asked if it's cool to be one. He replied: "Actually it's cool to trash on those kinds of people." When his grandmother heard us talking and asked him what a social justice warrior is (she really didn't know), he replied: "A lunatic."
When I asked his sister, "What is a social justice warrior?" she replied, in a shrill, high-pitched voice: "They're people who're like 'I'm going to give my children aromatherapy and not give them vaccines!"
She also said this: "Do you know what they're teaching us? That humans are killing the oceans and destroying the planet and we're all going to die from global warming!" When I asked her if any of the students believe that, she replied: "Some do!"
I concur. What we are seeing is the end product of a public education system that has been totally seized by the Left and turned into an indoctrination juggernaut. The next wave won’t be much different than the last.
Millenials are now in their 30’s and still not getting smarter. I suppose they won’t. Conservatives are going to be squeezed up and out of American politics like the last bit of toothpaste in a tube.
