One middle school kid and his two elementary-school-aged sisters ran away from their “caregivers.” Hmm.
Their adoptive parents no less
Reminds me of that old country song about the Trustee Jailbird and the bloodhound he trained. Wish I could remember the name of it . . . but I will bet they are headed in exactly the opposite direction.
That didn't last very long, did it?
At that age they aint going far
My kids are 9 12 and 20. The 20 year old I worry about ( girl and slot like dad unfortunately;-)
I spent 20 years working for a privately owned
residential Tx facility for at-risk kids. You
can bet I’ve seen and been involved in numbers
of runaway cases. I would sure love to know the
back story of these kids. Often they believe that
they have a destination that will keep and protect
them. Sadly, if that were true they would not
have been in their existing situation. That they
felt the need to run away from an adoption situation
makes me wonder because kids have a lot of say-so
when it comes to granting adoption. I would be
surprised if the kids were not found quickly if
they haven’t already been found. Pajama attire does
not bode well for planning unless they had stashed
clothes at a secret location. And, I have seen
that happen.
You’ve gotta wonder whether they were being abused.
Poor kids.
Something is not right in that home.
Now why didn’t my two run away at that age. I tried my best
