It always bugs me that the presumption is that Hunter did something wrong and that this somehow reflects on poor, innocent Joe. The reality is that Joe did something wrong in enabling this deal by taking Hunter there on Air Force 2 (at our expense) and then in failing to stop Hunter from taking the no-skill no-experience no-attendance no-work gig at $1M/yr which is more than any corporate board member makes anywhere. Same with the China $1-1.6B investment scheme. It's about Joe's bad judgment and greed, not about that drug-addled doofus Hunter.
Any company perpetrating that kind of obvious conflict of interest would be barred from getting government contracts, but somebody at the near top of government can get away with that?
