No offense taken. My daughter was turned down for a "Hispanic Scholarship" even though we provided the basic requirements of (a)a birth certificate proving my wife's grandfather was born in Puerto Rico and (b)acceptance letter from an accredited college.
We were told that the approval rate was nearly 100% in such cases. I can only suppose that they didn't like the fact that both my father-in-law and wife had gone off the plantation and married outside La Raza.

It’s funny how “Hispanic” is definitely a thing, unless it isn’t. Though it’s not funny being turned down for a scholarship!
