Yep. I only listen to the oldies, country and rock.
I listen to both kinds: Country AND Western.
I have no idea what that stuff they’re producing now is. One thing for sure, it ain’t country. I listen to Sean Hannity’s radio program. He has some Gawd awful noise as his theme. I think that trash is supposed to be modern country music.
Everyone I know has gone out searching for authentic country music since the Ken Burns documentary came out. I’ve given two box sets as gifts, the pendelum will return but she’s right, it’s swung way to far the wrong way.
