Having homosexual acts be illegal protected us from the way they are now running amuck (homosexual marriage etc). That was worthwhile. Laws are about morality. What’s missing from the old you can’t legislate morality guff is that it is perfectly moral people that can’t be so made ... but it has been used by the scum behind the sexual revolution to act as if you cannot legislate against any immoral acts.

Frankly, I’m okay if restoring perverted acts to illegal status would mean the lives of certain homosexuals would be harmed and limited.

The argument that “you can’t legislate morality” is wrong on its face. Every law contains a moral element — a “should” or a “must.”
