Pelosi's intentional timeline has been completely destroyed. Now she has to sit down and shaddap behind her intended target on Tuesday night. The Senate could hold the final vote to acquit today or Monday, before the President's State of the Union address on Tuesday.
The reason for delaying it until after (Wednesday) is to prevent the President from performing a "victory lap" around Congress.

I think he should send a state of the union letter to the congress and senate and then do his speech at the rally the night before.
