Yep - even the CDC acknowledges that, although they say that a mask out in public isn't necessary - just washing your hands, etc.

The thing I'm not sure about is when to start wearing a mask.

Asian gals at Costco can get away with it - I'm not sure about a grey-haired white guy. (Pride goes before the fall.)
