I’ve scanned through at least hundreds of articles but haven’t seen any reports of deaths outside of China.

It could be this virus is easy to control...with proper health care. Something that is lacking in China.

That may be because there are not enough cases outside of China. The death rate is about 1 in 50, and there has not been close to 50 cases yet. The more cases outside of China, the more likely there is to be a death.

Every time I see that there is another case outside of China, especially in people who have not been to China, I am more concerned. There is a real danger of this becoming a pandemic. Once it reaches pandemic stage, don’t count on a robust healthcare system to save patients. It will totally overwhelm the healthcare system; we’ll have sick wards set up in warehouses and gyms, like they did during the 1917-1919 influenza pandemic.
