IIRC, FDNY basically did diversity hiring at one for some reason and passed several candidates who had failed several of the tests that were required to be passed. In a emergency, if the had to make a fire-fighter down/trapped type rescue they physically couldn’t or something like that, but were still cleared to enter burning buildings.
After reading what the Chinese are doing to advance themselves, that is, STEALING RESEARCH FROM US, I find them to be dumber than a Netflix comedy.
