I have driven a manual transmission my entire life!! Every time I purchase a car I have to special order it sales people look at me as if I were from another planet!! After having driven a manual for that many years if I rent a car that is automatic my left foot keeps wanting to push in the clutch and right hand keeps going to look for the stick!! I love the manual transmission!!
I learned on a manual and that is all i ever drove until Daddy got a 65 Rambler with a 287 V-8 with a Borg Warner auto.
I beat every 289 and 283 in town even beat a 348 and my best friend’s 63 352. Would have beaten a 352 with a 4 barrel but what I thought was around a quarter turned out to be closer to a half and he finally passed me.
Only a few automatic transmissions here.
Grew up on manuals and have 16 Tacoma with a stick.
I like manual transmissions, too, but will install front and rear cameras in the next car. That will be for the creeps who pull up to within a few inches of the rear bumper at a stop light on an upward slope.
