The Count has created a one off collection of his finest videos. The songs include All Along The Watchtower, Wicked Game, Don't Fear The Reaper, Like A Hurricane and Kryptonite. A very rich and colorful collection in all and you can select your choice of video songs listed in the description. If you like the music please subscribe to the channel.

The Count has risen from hibernation, I see. Nice collection.

Thanks you dynachrome. Yes, I think he’ll be brushing the snow off and doing some acoustic guitar pieces.

All Along the Watchtower and Don’t Fear the Reaper are a couple of my favorites from your earlier posts.

That’s great — you have good taste! I like them both too. Watchtower is psychedelic and has the theme of the dragon. It’s images range from Hendrix, Dylan and the Beatles to Death in the form of a woman from Cocteau’s movie Orpheus. “Two rider were approaching” are the two motorcyclists that accompany Death in Cocteau’s movie. The guitar playing is strong and the count looks in possession of himself. He toys with his Dragon head cane. I think the dragon can refer to drugs or chaos that reel up and needs to be tamed for our own benefit.

Don’t Fear The Reaper has a black and white 1940s movie look, especially with the banging the gong scene taken from RANK films. It’s involves Death again — this time as the Reaper. Romeo & Juliet are mentioned in the second verse and you get the idea of LOVE in stark contrast to DEATH: a poignant blend of the unlimited eternal (LOVE) and the limiting finite (DEATH) that surrounds our life. The sound of the clock (Big Ben) suggests time is running out. Romeo & Juliet are the “children of the night” (spoken by Bela Lugosi from his Dracula movie) and make merry in the last scene.

Anyway, that’s my take on those two. I appreciate your interest in the Count’s music!

I like “Reaper” because I saw BOC perform it live in Detroit , Michigan, many years ago. I remember some of the concert...
