Remember that nurse - a trained healthcare worker - with Ebola went out after arriving back here from Africa a couple years back? NONE of these people will voluntarily stay in their home for 2 weeks and will, even if they do, be in contact with people delivering food and other supplies (assuming that they arrange for that and don’t just go to Walmart and Walgreen’s themselves).

We’ll see about 2 weeks after they arrive if any of them have it...and, if so, then the panic will begin. This disease is apparently only about 5% as lethal as Ebola, but about 10 times more communicable (and, as a bonus, can be passed to others for as long as two weeks before Patient Zero presents any detectable symptoms).

We are so f’ing stupid that it beggars the imagination.
