One of my doctor’s suspected narcolepsy. Do you also having “exploding head syndrome” It is where you hear a sudden loud noise as you are falling asleep. I also as a teen had severe sleep paralysis.

I have those symptoms. As I drift off to sleep I’ll hear all sorts of noises that wake me up. The most common one sounds like something heavy moving across the floor. I wake up and immediately know it was in my brain. My body sometimes will do a quick spastic shake, also as I’m drifting off to sleep.

OMG sleep paralysis is the most scary of anything.

Your mind is totally awake but you can’t move anything.

I had this several years ago and hope I never have it again.
