I think it is one thing for the President of the nation to say he is praying, or asking people to pray. He is the leader of the nation.
Joe is a crook who is trying to be President, and is obviously using this incident to his own benefit. If Joe really does pray to God (and I doubt he does), he could have done so privately and sent condolences privately.
But where's the PR profit in that?
