buuurrrn her!
Wheres the Donald sotherland meme when we need it??
Sounds to me like she says, regardless of which lakers team he played on.
Which doesnt make sense. At all
Haha. Clearly a misspeak but the usually activists will turn it into something
OMG I rolled out of my chair laughing so hard! Completely forgot how un-PC Dave Chappelle was.
To me, it sounds like she said “Laurel”. My wife said it sounds like she said “Yanni”.
I recall that.
That is what I thought happened. Everyone does NOT know names of sports teams. She just would not say the “word.”
Yes, we must never make the enemy live by their rules.
One of the James Bond reference books notes that one of the chapters in an Ian Fleming novel was called “Nigger Heaven.”
When the book was released in the USA, that chapter was retitled. The author (of the reference book, not Fleming) explained that the word “Nigger” was used much more freely in the UK than it was in the USA. Maybe not today though.
I wonder about the hockey player from Nigeria.
Knickers as in “Don’t get your knickers in a wad.”
It certainly was used by The Major....
"The strange thing was, throughout the morning she kept referring to the Indians as niggers. 'No, no, no,' I said. 'The niggers are the West Indians. These people are wogs.'"
Hopefully, we can agree that whatever she actually said, she did not intentionally say the racial slur that many are hearing. That being said, I am having a hard time feeling sorry for an MSNBC host who is being treated in an unfair manner.
Sad...lets just get past it. Two people died. Thats what its about...
***********
Actually nine people died. The pilot and eight passengers.
In the US we have the word snickered...a certain type of laughing
...and the Snickers bar.
In British books and TV shows
etc the word is “sniggered”.Am
guessing it was Americanized here
due to resemblance to the N word.
I say we push it as the N word. Shove the stupidity down their throats. Do you really care if a liberal reporter gets fired?
