Because people on Twitter were saying TMZ's website was down and this was another one of those hoaxes. Maybe I jumped the gun, but I know FR frowns on these types of posts.
A few years ago there were a lot of fake stories about celebrities dying.
8 Apparently there was a hoax in 2012 saying he died in a car crash.
