The Germans basically overthrew the Hungarian government in 1944, because Hungary wasn’t “doing their part” towards the Final Solution.
It was not the point of the article. Yes, of course, Belarussians and Ukrainians in particular also suffered greatly during the war. But, the Nazis also considered Soviet Communism to be what they called Judeo-Bolshevism, so it is not surprising that the Jews were especially targeted in particular. Polish Jewry was essentially wiped out, but one cannot say that of the Poles in general. Almost 1/3 or more of the Belarussian population was killed I have heard, but a sizable portion of that body count were Jews. But yes, of course, if the Nazis had won, the killing would have continued that would have included millions more of Slavs. Himmler estimated 30 million Slavs would have to go after the war was over.
Yes, there were thousands of camps scattered everywhere throughout occupied Europe.
Thanks! I will watch this. I did see Conspiracy made back in 2001 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vWLvq0jC-c0.
According to Nazi documentation, the Polish race was to eradicated within 30 years, through sterlization and other methods, but they could be used a slave labor through that time.
