I’m actually impressed at the structural integrity of that Prevost bus. There appears to be no intrusion into either the cab or passenger compartments. I can only assume that the one fatality on the bus met a very harrowing fate, not belted in, possible walking in the aisle and sent through that massive windshield due to the force of the impact.
There was no fatality on the bus; only 1 fatality and it was the car's driver who hit the bus:
"The driver of the wrong-way car was pronounced dead at the scene.

I used to drive these for Trailways. They are very well designed and built. If the cargo doors are open you can see the frame. It’s a lattice, ladder type made from very sturdy square tubing. Welds are first rate. Considering the liability potential to the manufacturer they’d be foolish to cut any corners.
There was NO fatality on the bus.
