Huh, I’m by no means a serious SW fan, but wouldn’t such a plot require some big-time retroactive continuity gimmicks? IIRC, in the original SW, Luke barely knows old Ben Kenobi at the beginning of the movie and is unaware of who Leia is. So, what? They’re going to have the three of them going on adventures and then give the kids amnesia in the final episode?
The Mandalorian was great. Felt almost as much like a western as a space opera, and that was just the right tone to hit.
