I am always nervous about giving tea as a gift. My flavor of tea is always toward Green tea. Not knowing what to get, I do not want to offend.

Don’t give Chinese tea, unless its a very different sort of origin or herbal tea they probably have seen before.

Giving Chinese tea, unless you are very familiar with the provenance, is like giving a Frenchman from Bordeaux a bottle of wine.

They already know what they like and many Chinese pride themselves on knowing the best teas.
