He’s already 20 years past his over/under. Stay on those rails Ozzy.
No thanks.
Actually the other way. Jimi & Experience opened for them.

“You saw YES?”
With Rick Wakeman in his tower and wizard hat and robes.
Otherwise an unremarkable band.
Not condoning the lifestyle but...
When it comes to drug and alcohol abuse Ozzy blows EVERYONE ELSE away.
The miracle is that he lived to see 40. Him living to 70 is unbelievable.
His abuse of drugs and alcohol makes Keith Richards look like a choir boy.
Maybe the Prince of Darkness thing isn’t a shtick.
Maybe he did may a deal with the devil.
Fast forward to their movie Head and you’d swear they dropped some of Jimi’s Purple Haze.
Exactly, it may be sad but it is not shocking or a surprise diagnosis.
I was always amazed at how he could sing a song but not string a sentence together.
I never saw that. Because it was, well, the Monkeys. So..and..you know...I thought...
“It’s one of the most notorious moments in rock history: Ozzy Osbourne, arrested in San Antonio, Texas in February 1982 for urinating at a monument near the Alamo dedicated to the lives of soldiers killed in the 1836 Texas Revolution. Following the incident, Osbourne was banned from the Texas city for a decade.”
Quite the legend.
My 1st major rock concert was Blue Oyster Cult opening for Uriah Heep. Whew!
The concert that seemed the oddest was Foreigner (quite good, but not blow you away stuff), with some black guys who looked like some sort of rap-dance band, but played ROCK, as an opening act. I can’t remember their band’s name, but they were actually pretty good.
Ozzy / BS I never saw in concert. But they sure did some memorable stuff. Parts of the “Paranoid” album, if you can get a pre-loudness wars copy, are some of the best audio quality recorded heavy rock one can find. Stunning dynamics and clarity.
It seems ironic that a druggie, then still a druggie, and was for a long time longer, sang “Hand of Doom”, which did as much to scare me away from drugs as anything else. For that, I’d say “Thanks, Ozzy”.
My first concert...Sanford Townsend Band opened for Aerosmith.
I met him when he was on a guest on a radio show with steve jones. Told him I saw him twice when zak quote was his lead g. One thing I got is that he’s not really a lib and preferred to work than lounging around. Plus my aunt died from Parkinson’s so I know how it feels.
I saw him 2x when zak wylde was his lead guitarist. One of the show’s where my uncle bought my tickets.
I’ve seen BOC back in the day.
I met Steve Tyler & the band under some interesting circumstances in the late 70s. Their early stuff was phenomenal.
Rats in the Cellar, Draw the Line, Back in the Saddle. My 3 favorites
Hes seemed symptomatic for years
Its a hard road Ozz
Hope your family loves you my man
Im sorry
Ive watched it up close and personal
Damn
