Bobby

Very interesting to see them cheer for the great coach. I remember when he left, they were ready to run him out on the rails, because he talked "mean" to the kids. The participation trophy generation couldn't handle a tough talking leader/coach. I always though Knight got a raw deal, after what he did for their basketball program.

I'm so glad Trump had him up on stage & gave him the spotlight to endorse him.

Bobby was a friend of my uncle John. Our family with Six out of seven in dad & Johns generations were IU grads and extremely loyal to the General. So many wonderful stories His team members were expected to be gentlemen. Yes his being booted out was when the liberals took over the Bloomington campus. Spit.

As my son said there only so many parts of the body that can be pierced and so many colors one can dye hair. The drug use was rapid on campus So sad! Too many faculty and student from Eastern mob type families was just the tip of problem.

My grandson would get upset at his basketball coach one year because he was “mean”. His parents and I explained to him that he is trying to make him a better athlete. Their team did VERY well that year. Next year, he got a coach that just smiled at them and basically patted them on the back for participation. That team only won one game. He’s learning!
