Gallup’s “Mood of the Nation” survey conducted January 2 to 15 revealed that “nine in 10 Americans are satisfied with the way things are going in their personal life” — a record high in the four-decade trend.
The 90 percent who said they were satisfied with their personal life is the highest figure between 1979 and 2020, beating the previous high of 88 percent in 2003. The average over the last four decades was 83 percent satisfied.
