Fuzzy Zoeller has a beautiful golf course in our area. Our high school now has a new sound system this year for the basketball games by Nike. Our old system was embarrassing.

We have a local guy playing baseball and another NBA. Visitors sometimes make comments about our local high school and our half time entertainment. Our school is inner city while the more affluent (funny..the farmers kids and more wealthy live on the Knobs in the city). We have what is called a Step Dance Team and a regular dance team. Visitors will look down their nose and ask why we have a dance team that stomps and claps to a song.

This is an old video...this was 2011..students today stand and cheer them. And the team today is a mix of all backgrounds..

Just watch the R House news conference. Very moving. Lynn Chaney actually teared up while KM was speaking. Hope it’s posted on UT soon.

I remember Step Dancing, it does take talent, not just noise.

Youngest son was in the band all through high school, played all percussion instruments, a movie came out based on a Step Dance group, “Stomp the Yard”, and his band teacher took the whole band to see.
