My sister was “mean” to both my father and I. At times of her life she tried to kill both of us
The last ten years of his life he lived with me because the assisted living would not allow her to visit alone.
Daddy and I were close. Before he died he was bothered by something. Finally he asked what will happen to your sister when she passes. I assured him that she was ill and when she passed the Good Lord would hold her and heal her. That he would have the desired relationship he always wanted with her. You too will one day have those relationships. Some mental illnesses only God can heal.
