Hey, Jane!

Well, the house is already cozy cottage decor - very cozy and warm.

But the bath (not the boudoir) will be a combo of rustic and sparkle, with everything from whitewash wood-look floor tile to iridescent black-grey tile and glittery silver tile trims, a champagne-colored twig chandelier, and a rustic Aspen vanity. It sounds like a wild mix but I think it’s going to work. If not, items can be returned and replaced. My paint/decor plans sometimes get raised eyebrows from hubby and others but, so far, end results have been good. So, we’ll see how it goes. Whatever happens, it’s going to be fun and fresh!

When it’s finished I plan to pack snacks and books, lock the door, and soak in the tub for days at a time, venturing out only when I’m wrinkled enough to pass for about age 150. The only thing which might possibly coax me from my hideout would be a fireman knocking at the door - and then, only if he’s cute and, of course, Deplorable. ;-)

Can you say “Yeeee-haaaawww, Calgon take me away!!!”?

However it goes, it will be a lot different from our two old but still very cute mint green bathrooms which have already been updated - in the 1950’s! ;-)

LOL....I like that update schedule.....every 60 or 65 years, or so :-)

You’ll have to post a pic....not of YOU soaking, just of the bathroom (not boudoir).
