I have been several times but was unable to attend this year. I remember one year in particular when I saw fewer than 20 uniformed police. There was a small group on horseback away from the crowds, just chatting with each other. The others were directing traffic at intersections which they opened to cars periodically. 200,000 and no need for police. It is an upbeat, positive crowd.
What a blessing to be able to attend one/any of these Marches!!
Yes....the pro-life crowds, as are all conservative groups, are clean, polite gatherings.
