The problem with 1917 was the plot was as thin as a Hollywood Musical. Zero character development, you didn’t really care about anyone in the movie.

Surely you don’t believe that anything close to this really happened?

And the ending...it just ends. That’s just how movies are made these days with very little of anything of value and clearly not a humorous moment.

Really, dude? Don't want to spoil it for others, but when the soldier that did finish the run sat down to reflect on things, that wasn't "just ends" to me.
