decaprio ruins it- he doesn’t come across as anything but decaprio trying to be someone else- doesn’t pull it off- it’s not the acting- it’s just his presence- it just screams “I’m decaprio” - Some actors transform into the character they are portraying- but he never did- not in my opinion-
Boy, I disagree. He has a way of laughing at himself.
The scene where he comes back to his trailer, and beats himself up...just like the typical alcoholic he probably is. The other times he wells up, like when the little 8 year old tells him how great that scene was he did.
There are many scenes where, he’s really very funny. Drinking the margharita from the blender, while he’s telling the Hippy to get the bleep out of here.
In fact, I think this movie gets an award for saying the F-Bomb more times than Goodfellows.
I loved the movie but I agree DiCaprio was poor casting
Pitt was perfect....tack driver perfection for the role
