The secret was perpetrated by one of the most vicious Fascist disinformation campaigns in American history where anyone who professed belief in alien life was turned into a ‘tin hatter.’ The remnants of this decades long, viciously established narrative remains to this day where anyone who mentions UFOs is still met with roaring ridicule. In the government’s disinformation campaign, paid ‘experts’ were hired to attack citizens’ First Amendment rights, which destroyed the citizen’s credibility and may have even cost some their lives. I have not heard a single apology from the Agency or any government official regarding these unrelenting personally destructive operations. If the government truly has a ‘national security’ basis for protecting this information, they sure as hell didn’t have to become Fascist in the process to accomplish their objective. Apparently, a ‘no comment’ was deemed not good enough.

Actually, the second best. My parents are STILL convinced that Trump colluded with Russia to win the 2016 election, but he somehow managed to keep it secret from the 500 people Mueller had testify or the 1000 subpoenas that Mueller issued.
