I still dont understand (except as historical hindsight) how in the world the Germans thought they could continue to make war once they had lost air superiority. Unless they just failed to realize how important it was until too late. Once they reached that point they should have started folding things up and start a peace process. Never give up the con aint always the best advice.
The Germans had made overtures to the Allies to end the war (unbeknownst to Hitler); I thought that both FDR and Churchill had made it clear that negotiations were out of the question.
