It is likely, MrEdd, that you are projecting, calling others what you in fact already perceive in yourself. Get a grip. If it makes you feel better, though, I’d welcome the label of Deplorable.

[You lower yourself when you defend this fool.]

Not defending him at all. Look - Mitt Romney is a great family man. Problem is he only screws the people who vote for him. Whereas Trump is a pathological skirt-chaser and serial adulterer who keeps faith with his voters. I much prefer Trump despite his undoubtedly luxe tastes compared to Bernie’s.

I was merely pointing out that Bernie is as spartan in his personal habits as his hair shirt platform would seem to imply. BTW, public servant is a BS term politicians use to suggest that they serve us instead of the other way around. Even Trump does what he wants most of the time instead of what we want. He could have ended DACA on day 1. He did not. He will be signing the Indian green card giveaway.

Bottom line - don’t pull the wool over your own eyes - every pol in existence, Trump included, is the arena because it’s the closest thing to king you can get without stepping into a time machine. Bloomberg may be 10x richer than Trump, but nobody will remember him 100 years from now unless he gets the brass ring. That’s what it’s all about, from the first politician who ever stepped into the ring - immortality through historical memory.

actually, having traveled and resided extensively in hotels back in the day, most of these requests are quite reasonable

“I believe HP Lovecraft wrote a story about a man who required Cold Air. Turns out the guy was dead and began to rot if he was in a warm room.”

Actually, with his accent I wouldn’t vote for him regardless of his political leanings or economic policies.
