I saw a little 5 year old kid bring in an 8 lb rainbow trout on one of those snoopy poles. That fish had no problem taking the Woodstock bobber under while it was bobbing around just a few feet off the river’s edge.
Maybe it was a Snoopy bobber, whatever, it was so funny because everyone else had serious equipment and no one was catching anything. The father was beside himself trying not to snatch the pole and bring it in himself. The fish really fought but the boy listened to everyone’s advise to take it easy and got it in himself without losing it.
