I live in Georgia and it’s common when you no longer need something you leave it in the front of your yard for someone to pick up. I’ve seen clothes, furniture, and yes often bikes. It’s possible someone thought it was a giveaway. Certainly possible anyway so setting up a trap to viciously beat someone is wrong.

That’s odd. Where I live people add a sign, “Free” to whatever item they leave out at the side of the road, in front of the house where one would put their trash cans. And why would someone leave something for free, in front of their vehicles, right next to the garage where it’s hard to see from the street? like in these videos?

These people were obviously thieves, plain and simple.

Here, wannabee disposees typically put a sign on unwanted possessions.

Usually utilizing a flap from a cardboard box with “FREE” scrawled on it that can be see by passing vehicles.

And at the road/sidewalk edge of the property...
