Don Jr. [has] ... already teased about running for governor of New York or mayor of New York City, but a better bet will be a quickie relocation to Montana or some other state, at least nominally, before he launches his political career. Junior has spent a lot of time on the campaign trail and has learned the ropes. Expect to see him at the center of the Trump efforts in 2020 and as a constant presence on social media.
. . . .
Yes, the Imperial Trumps are here to stay. Get ready for four years of the right-wing press writing strained profiles of the Strange New Respect that Ivanka is generating among conservatives, and how the first woman Republican president might not be Nikki Haley but rather the deceptively smart and successful fashion icon supermom Ivanka Trump, who is surprisingly down-to-earth. Theyll discover she has an easy, self-deprecating sense of humor.

Still, he raises an interesting question: Would either Don Jr. or Ivanka be a serious contender for the nomination in 2024? My inclination is to think that, despite the cachet of the Trump name, primary voters would go with Pence or someone else who's pro-Trump but not a Trump.
Still, when Don Sr. announced in 2015, I thought he had no chance, so what do I know.
Don Jr. is buidling a very good reputation, even among Freepers, and he is building a coalition of possible donors to campaigns.
I have seen worse campaign strategy.
Don Jr. is a Democrat.
That’s a bit of a problem.
They’re desperate. They’ll try any tactic to win
No! Trump should tell his kids to stay out of politics. No dynasties!!
I don’t think Don Jr is ready for the position. And I don’t like politicians children and spouses moving into positions occupied by their relatives unless they actually earned it.
I am opposed to monarchies, even in families lead by good people.
Whatever Trumps successes, the voters are unlikely to elect Jr. immediately following Sr.
Just a historical trend. Does not mean that Jr winning is impossible... just unlikely
Yet Democrats say Michelle Obama is a natural followup to Barack, and let’s make the surviving Kennedy’s heirs to Camelot. If JFK Junior hadn’t died in that plane crash, you know he’d have been the nominee.
Not for President, but I would support him if he ran for office in NYS. New York really needs help, it’s time to start taking the battle to these Blue states.
I have to admit, I saw him in an interview and was impressed with all his quick, in-depth and accurate statements.
After a Bush/Bush president family....is America ready for another.
(I'm doubtful)
Even in ministries lead by good people.
Pence would only be 65 in 2024.....relatively young compared to the current election cycle!
Don Jr should run for governor and demonstrate he can turn a state around.
Ah!
“THEY”’re Channeling my thoughts again!

It looks like Don Jr. is a Republican.
Correction welcome.
Donald Trump Jr.
That's all true, and I don't like it no matter which side is doing it.
I'm not sure that he and Kimberly have it in them. I was very disappointed when they went to talk at UCLA on Jr's book about being triggered, and they were heckled by supporters for not taking questions and left. Where's his dad's humor to diffuse a situation and fighting spirit?
Yep.
Kennedys
Bushes
Obamas
Clinton
No
Not a chance. We aren’t royalty and we don’t do crown princes and princesses. Trump had a track record of a business he built and a brand he developed. His children don’t, and owe all that they do have to their father. I see no reason to vote for someone based on name alone.
What happens to the GOP after 2024? Does it simply revert to the control of swamp RINOs like Romney? Or does Trump transform it? Or does something else happen?
